What were the "nomes" of ancient Egypt?

ReplyDeleteI thought I answered your question this morning, but it didn't post; so I am using Patrick's account.
Nomes means leaders in Greek. It was the list of leaders (or pharaohs) who ruled Egypt since its unification under Menes. Hope that helps!
