Moses was a man born in Egypt who leads the Israelites out of Egypt and slavery. He was given the 10 commandments by God on Mt. Sinai and he also found the burning bush. He was born as a slave but his mother put him in a basket in the Nile (I think). Where an Egyptian princess found him and raised him as royalty. He found out he was a Israelite and led them out of Egypt.
Here is his untold story before his time in Egypt. Moses was born in a basket and sent down a river to Madagascar. He lived among the lemurs a tree house. He learned to dance the ritual Lemur dance, also known as the Hominid Hustle. He was given an ocarina, which allowed him to travel back and forth in time. One dark day the Zebras of Madagascar took over the Lemur village. Moses needed to use his ocarina to travel back and forth in time to stop this catastrophe from happening. One faithful day he pulled the Master Sword from a rock, showing he was the chosen one. One thing I failed to mention is he was garbed in a green tunic. After obtaining all of the sacred medallions he voyaged to the great Zebra tower. He had to conquer all of his fears and eventually defeated Ganondor…. I mean the evil Zebras. He lived out a rich and full life from then on, and he passed away. When he was born again he was the Moses we are familiar with today.
Moses was a Jew. He became the son of the pharaoh because he was found in a basket in the Nile River. One day, when he was grown up he was wondering through Egypt. He saw a guard beating a Jew. He attacked the guard and then fled the city of Egypt. He came across a town and began to live there. He became a shepherd and one day while out in the field one of his sheep wondered off. He followed to get the sheep. He came across a burning bush and this is where God asked Moses to return to Egypt and lead the Jews out of Egypt. Moses listened and returned to Egypt the Pharaoh would not allow the Jews to leave. So God casted the Ten plagues and finally after the last one the Pharaoh agreed to allow the Jews to leave. But shortly, afterwards he changes his mind and sent his army after the Jews. When the Jews reached the red sea Moses walked up to it and with the power of God separated it so there was a path for the Jews to travel on to get to the other side. After, long time of wondering and looking for a new area to settle the came upon Mt. Sinai and Moses traveled to the top of the mountain and God gave him the Ten Commandants which were inscribed in stone. These ten Commandments were rules that people should follow to gain their access into Heaven.
Moses is a player in the bible who wrote the Ten Commandments on Mt. Sinai. He led the Jews out of Egypt and god parted the Red Sea so he could cross with the Jews. He is important because he warned the pharaoh that there were going to be ten plagues but the pharaoh did not believe him. God sent him a shaft that became a snake and this scared the pharaoh. He was a Sheppard and he came across a burning bush that was a message from god when he was out in the field.
Moses was a prince of egypt and also a jew but no body knew not even him until he was talked to by a burning bush who was supposedly God. God told him to free all the slaves who were also jews to the promise land, Israel. So Moses parted the red sea to get to the promise land and let his people go.
Moses' story is in the old testament. He was a man who freed the jewish slave from egypt. He parted the Red sea and led the jews to the "promise land" or Isreal. He also spoke to God and was told the ten commandments. God put ten plagues on Egypt and Moses had warned the Pharoah but the Pharoah didnt listen. Moses was raised as the pharoah's son because his parents sent him down a river so that he wouldn't have to live as slave just because he was a jew.
Moses was found by the Pharaoh of Egypt in the river Jordan. He grew up and released the Israelites from slavery. He recieved the 10 commandments on mount sinai. he crossed the red sea. he had a really cool cane that god hgave him when god was a burning bush. he killed all of these dude babies b/c they didnt put lamb blood on their doors. he also made all these frogs appear and stuff.
Moses was a man who did many great things. One thing he did was while he was sitting on Mt sinai, god gave him ten commandments which Moses wrote on stone. These are still used to this day. Another thing Moses did was he parted the red sea so the jews could escape slavery in Egypt and reach "The promised land". He did this because he saw how the jews were mistreated, and more importantly he came across a burning bush that was a message from God to free the jews from slavery.
Moses met with God at the top of Mount Sinai to receive the 10 commandments. Moses also led the people of Israel across the Red Sea into the promise land.
Moses freed the Jews in Egypt who had been force to work for the Pharaoh. So he freed the them from the Pharaoh. Moses most famous for the part in the story where he parts the Red Sea and allowed the slaves to escaped from the Pharaoh. He also wrote the 10 commandments.
Moses is a character in both the Hebrew Torah and Christian bible. In both religious texts Moses is portrayed as a great prophet. The main story related to Moses is the story of how he freed the Jews who were enslaved in Egypt. The story goes that Moses first approached the Pharaoh to try to persuade him to free his people, but the Pharaoh refused. Moses though continued to work to free the Jews, and eventually with the help of god parted the red sea so that the Jews could escape from the Pharaoh’s army. After Moses helped the Jews escaped, he led them through the desert for many decades until finally they reached the promise land. During their time wandering in the desert, Moses went up on Mount Sinai, communicated with god, and then returned to relay God’s message to his people. This message was the Ten Commandments.
Moses was a Jew born in Egypt. To protect him his mother put him in a basket and floated him down the Nile. He was found by the princess. He left egypt and became a herder. One day he saw a burning bush and God spoke to him. He told Moses that he was going to lead the Jews out of Egypt. Moses went to the Pharaoh to try to convince him to let the Jews go. The pharaoh refused 12 times and each time there was a plague that struck egypt. Finally after his oldest son died the Pharaoh let the Jews leave. However a short while later, he changed his mind and went after the Jews. When the Jews reached the Red sea Moses parted it and they crossed. Pharaoh reached the Red Sea right after moses and began crossing when the sea. The sea came back together right as Pharaoh was in the middle and killed him and other Egyptians who followed him. Moses led the Jews into their promised land, where they ate manna. Moses went to the top of Mt. Sainai and copied down the 10 commandments. When he returned though, he found that the Jews had begun worshiping a golden calf. He was so mad he crushed the 10 commandments and destroyed the calf. He went back to the top of Mt. Sainai again and rewrote the 10 commandments. He was a great prophet.
Moses freed the slaves from Egypt. He is a historical figure because he is mentioned frequently in the Bible. The Jews were being forced to serve the Pharoah. Moses led the Jews out of Egypt, and God parted the Red Sea so they could get to the other side. Once they crossed the sea, they came across Mt. Sinai. They climbed the mountain and at the top, God gave Moses the Ten Commandments to inscribe in stone.
Moses was the leader of the Jews, who helped installed a legal system from their god, YHWH, into their society around 1250 B.C.E. The Torah, a jewish scripture, discusses the miracles and works of god through Moses. Moses is most famous for freeing the Jews from Egypt, through the help of God.
Moses is the leader of the Jews and gave the people a legal system from their god YHWH about 2250 B.C., about 500 years before Hammurabi of Babylon issued a law code. Moses's legal system outlived Hammurabi's code anyway. Moses also helped free the Jews and help them escape from Egypt after 400 years of slavery in about 1200 B.C. During his journey back to Egypt, he went through the Sinai Desert, where God revealed a set of religious and civil laws for them.
Moses was a Hebrew. He helped the Jews win their freedom from being enslaved by the Egyptians after 400 years. The intervention of God helped him set them free. Moses was also given Ten Commandments by God during lightning and a storm on Mount Sinai, and then the miracle happened.
In Egypt, there was a Pharaoh who had been told that there would be a Jewish prophet who would lead the Jews, the Pharaoh's slaves, out of Egypt and to the promise land. He ordered all of the the first born sons of every family to be killed. One mother, wanting to save her son, wrapped him up in cloth and laid him in a basket and sent him down the river. Moses was found by the Pharaoh's daughter and was raised by the Pharaoh. When Moses was grown up he left home and went into the desert. There he saw a burning bush. God told him to go back to the Pharaoh and free the Jews.God told Moses that with his help he could lead the Jews out of Egypt and into the promise land. Moses, along with his brother, went to the Pharaoh and demanded for the Jews to be set free or there would be great consequences. The Pharaoh denied this demand. God sent seven plagues until the Pharaoh gave up and reluctantly set the Jews free due to the death of his only son. The Jews began to leave Egypt. As they had escaped the realms of the palace, the Pharaoh decided to chase after them. He ordered chariots to bring them back. As Moses was approaching the Red Sea, the Pharaoh's soldiers were catching up. God told Moses to raise his staph and the seas would part. The seas parted into walls and the Jews reached the other side of the great waters. As they did, Moses raised his staph again and the walls of waters came tumbling down on the Pharaoh's soldiers. Moses then led the Jews to the promise land. Later, he brought down the ten commandments from Mount Sinai.
Moses is a religious and the most important prophet in Judaism. He was found as a baby by the daughter of the Pharaoh. After he killed an egyptian slave master, he fled across the Red Sea to Midian. Here he had his encounter with the God of Israel and the Burning Bush. God then sent him to free the Israelites. He led the Exodus of Israelites out of Egypt and across the Red Sea.
He was the Jewish prophet talked about in Exodus. When he was born into a less fortunate family, his mom put him in a basket and he floated down the nile. Luckily, the daughter of thepharaoh found him. (Or maybe it wasn't just luck..) He freed the slaves from Egypt and lead them to the pormise land. He also parted the Red Sea. He was also the guy who God called to Mount Siani to get the Ten Commandments.
On another level, i think Moses was used as a tool to deliver the message that if one does right they will be blessed. Moses stood up for what he felt was right. This concept is also found in other religions. One could even go so far as to say that Moses knew what was right and fulfilled his duty. He later had the episode with the burning bush. This is when Moses gets the ten commandments. The ten ways on how to live in order to get to heaven. (concept sound familiar?). I think that Moses's story might have been used in the bible to explain the importance of reward for doing what one is supposed to.
According to the bible Moses set the seven plagues upon Egypt until the Pharaoh let the Jews go. Moses then led the Jews to the Promised Land through the red sea. He then carved the ten commandments onto stone on the top of Mt. Sinai and led Judaism.
Moses was a man born into a slave family at the time where the pharaoh would kill the baby boys of the family. To protect him, his mother sent him in a basket down the Nile River. He floated all the way into the pharaoh’s court. He was raised there as a Prince of Egypt. When he saw the way that the Jews were treated in Egypt, put to work to build the pyramids and whipped, he tried to protest it. Then he discovered that he was actually not royalty, that he was born a Jew. He was cast out for breaking the law and sent out into the desert. There he became a shepard.
